Description
Extreme housing durability meets premium scratch-resistant glass. The Shield RMS2 Glass Edition is a rugged evolution of the iconic RMS sight, featuring a reinforced aluminum housing engineered to absorb heavy impacts in duty and competitive shooting. This top-tier version comes equipped with an all-new ultra-clear glass lens, offering superior scratch resistance compared to polymer options and a distortion-free sight picture with no blue tint. Its low-profile design sits exceptionally close to the slide, allowing for a seamless lower-third co-witness with standard-height factory iron sights.
With its reliable zero-button design, the built-in light sensor automatically adjusts the 4 MOA dot brightness to match ambient conditions instantly.
- Dot Size: 4 MOA (the perfect sweet spot for rapid acquisition and precision)
- Housing Material: Strengthened aerospace-grade aluminum (no side-battery door to ensure maximum structural integrity)
- Lens: Glass Edition – scratch-resistant, ultra-clear glass with an anti-reflective coating
- Weight: Lightweight at just ~17.5 grams / 0.61 oz (with battery)
- Mounting Footprint: Shield RMS/SMS standard footprint
- Battery Type: 1x CR2032 (average battery life of 2–3 years)
