- Product Type: Professional open-top Outside-the-Waistband (OWB) tactical duty holster featuring a Low-Ride belt configuration. Engineered explicitly for law enforcement, military use, and tactical shooters who require an optimized draw stroke while wearing body armor, plate carriers, or heavy load-bearing vests.
- Compatibility (Firearm, Optic, & Light): Custom thermal-molded precision fit tailored for full-size Glock 17 (Gen 1–5) pistols, as well as Glock 22 and 31 (Gen 1–4) sharing the same footprint. Specifically configured for pistols equipped with a slide-mounted Red Dot Sight (RDS) and a full-size tactical weapon light (such as Surefire X300/X300U, Streamlight TLR-1/TLR-1 HL, etc.).
- CRITICAL NOTE: Because the internal locking tolerances index directly off the weapon light housing, this holster WILL NOT securely retain or lock the firearm without the specific weapon light attached.
- ALS® Automatic Locking System (Level I Retention™): Automatically locks the firearm securely via the ejection port upon reholstering, keeping the weapon stable in all directions without the need for cumbersome snaps or straps. The release is highly intuitive: once a proper shooting grip is established, a simple sweep of the thumb deactivates the lock for a swift, straight-up draw.
- Optics Protection (RDS Profile): Equipped with a built-in, rotating spring-loaded Optic Hood cover that shields the lens of the red dot sight from rain, debris, and impacts when holstered, automatically flipping out of the way during the draw sequence.
- Handedness: Right Hand (RH).
- Material & Structural Protection: Constructed from heavy-duty SafariLaminate™ thermoformed material wrapped in a rugged, scuff-resistant STX Tactical finish. The interior pocket is fully lined with soft SafariSuede™ to protect the firearm’s finish and sights from wear while enabling a completely silent draw.
- Mounting Attachment: Features a factory Low-Ride belt loop that drops the holster significantly lower on the hip and tilts it slightly outward from the body. This provides maximum clearance when drawing around tactical gear. Fits duty belt widths up to 2.25” (58 mm). Utilizes the standard Safariland 3-hole mounting pattern for seamless integration with QLS quick-disconnect forks or thigh rigs.
